2024 Lincoln PHEV headlight mystery

So, my husband has a 2024 Lincoln PHEV, and it has this mystery. He's trying to figure out if it has those Dynamic Bending Lamps, you know, the headlights that turn when you steer?

He's looked all over the Lincoln website, and he can't find any mention of that option in any of the packages.

the weird part is when he starts the car, the headlights do this little dance where they turn towards each other, then swing back to normal. To him, that totally screams, "Hey, I've got dynamic bending lamps!"

But then, when he's driving at night, he says he doesn't actually notice them doing anything different from regular headlights. So he's stumped.

Anyone out there know if those particular PHEVs came with those bending lights, or if that startup "dance" just means something else? any insight would be appreciated

Auto leveling, not necessarily bending lol, seen this too much, lincoln loves the fancy startup show, but unless it clearly says adaptive or dynamic bending in the specs or owner's manual, nah you probably don't have it, they should move while turning, if not then they aren't bending, simple

Its just the adaptive lighting system doing a self check, if your PHEV has dynamic bending lamps, they usually only activate at low speeds or tight turns, so you might not notice them on regular drives, check your settings menu for anything about adaptive or bending lights, no option?, then your model probably just has basic adaptive LEDs without the swivel feature
