Need help setting up network for my home charger

When I charge my Lincoln at home, the Lincoln Way app just shows the network as "UNKNOWN," but at a public charger it showed the actual name. Is there a way to link the home charging station to my network so it shows up properly in the app? Right now it looks like I only get status info from the three little LEDs on the box. It's not really helpful.

Pretty common imo, if your home charger isn't one that works with the Lincoln Way app, itll just show up as "unknown." Most home chargers don't really link directly unless they're part of Ford's network. If your charger has its own app, try setting it up through that... you might get more details there. If not, then you're stuck with just the LED lights for now.

I agree with @Chancey above. Home chargers especially third-party ones, often don't show up by name unless they're officially supported or connected through a smart home integration.

Hope you got this resolved already if not, you might want to reach out to Lincoln support or your charger's manufacturer to see if there's a workaround.

@corollalala, the app usually just grabs what the charger sends back, so unless your home charger is smart enough and connected to Wi-Fi with a proper ID, it might stay vague

Yep, that makes sense. If you're not using a Lincoln charger at home, it'll probably just show up as unknown. So, the charger's app is probably your best way to go.
