Don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining because mine is just a 2021 GT and I got to try the 2024 GT. But the problem is this isn't making me happy because my little dachshunds aren't allowed inside. Thinking of ditching the dealer and getting back my car. They need to get to their vet appointment on Saturday and dealer said this simple "repair" that's just oil change will last a week. What a load of BS. Is it safe to get my oil change somewhere else? Do you recommend somewhere here in Phoenix?

Honestly, I'd take that as my cue to bounce, if it's just an oil change, there's zero reason it should take a week especially when you've got pups depending on you and you see that whole "loaner but no dogs" rule is ridiculous too.

yeah, a week for an oil change is total BS! You're completely right.
That's not normal at all unless they've got some massive, unexpected issue they haven't told you about, which seems unlikely for just an oil change. I think they're probably just swamped and prioritizing bigger jobs.
For a routine oil change, you do not need to stick to the dealer. Just make sure you get it done at a reputable shop. Keep the receipt and record the mileage, that's all you need for warranty purposes
